WEST TEXAS ELK HUNTING- AT IT'S FINEST!

At Ahrens Ranch & Wildlife, LLC., we specialize in offering exceptional free range elk hunting experiences in far west Texas. Our focus is primarily on hunting during the elk rut, which occurs between September 15th and October 15th each year. Similar to other western states, we employ calls and spot/stalk techniques to pursue bulls during this peak season, ensuring an incredible experience at our elk ranch.

We offer excellent Elk hunting experiences through our team of guides on fantastic privately owned elk ranches, ensuring no public land is involved. We manage these ranches year-round with supplemental feed and watering systems to ensure we are doing the best for our free range elk herds. During a hunt with us, you can expect to take a mature bull above 300 inches, with some bulls having been taken in the 380-inch range. However, I would advise that we typically take around the 320-inch mark. 

Our hunts last for 3 1/2 days and include 4 nights of lodging, all meals, guide services, game care, and one mature trophy elk bull.
