Elk Hunting West TExas

At Ahrens Ranch & Wildlife, LLC., we specialize in limited but exceptional free range Elk hunting in far west Texas. We primarily focus on hunting during the Elk rut which falls between September 15th and October 15th each year. Much like other western states, we like to use calls and spot/stalk bulls during this time as it makes for an incredible experience and hunt.

We offer excellent Elk hunting experiences through our team of guides on fantastic ranches that are privately owned, no public land. We manage these ranches year round with supplemental feed and watering systems to ensure we are doing the best for our Elk herds. You can expect on a hunt with us to take a mature bull above 300". While some bulls have been taken in the 380" range before with us, I would advise that we take around the 320" normally. 

Our hunts are 3 1/2 days long with 4 nights lodging, all meals, guide, game care, and one mature trophy Elk bull.
