Aoudad in West Texas

Ahrens Ranch & Wildlife is proud to offer some of the best Aoudad hunting that the state of Texas has to offer. These hunts are extremely rewarding and at times can be extremely challenging. The terrain we hunt sheep in can vary from 3500 ft to 6000 ft in elevation. We have been able to cater to any level of experience, age, and hunting skills. So whether you are a first time hunter or a seasoned pro, we can hunt to your specifications.

The rams we go after typically are 30"-33" with some sheep being taken larger than that. Over the course of 9 years, AR&W has successfully guided over 400 sheep hunters!

Our typical shot distances range from 200-400 yards and we request hunters bring a .300 caliber to hunt these tough animals. If you are more comfortable with a different caliber, just chat with us before hand so we can make sure you are using the proper bullet.

All of our Aoudad hunts are all-inclusive for 3 1/2 days, 4 nights lodging, meals, guide, game care, and one trophy ram.
